I know that non-smokers don’t want the second hand smoke but then make separate areas.
There are enough restrictions in everyday life. As an adult people can choose what they want to do. I am not saying that the entire casino needs to put up with smoke, however an indoor smoking section with slots would go a long way. I understand that smoking, drinking, and gambling are all not good habits but I am not going to the health club. Plus when I do this it forces me to leave the slot I am playing. However, I am not going to throw thousands of dollars away to be forced to find a remote outdoor smoking area. I am sure this was the main reason for them to start the no smoking policy. I am sure Covid impacted them like every other business. The Copper Rock was a great fine dining restaurant and the high limit slot room was fun! People could have a drink, smoke a cigarette or cigar, and gamble in an adult environment. The decor is still beautiful in the casino. The original hotel was smaller but beautiful. Like you were getting away without having to get on a plane and fly somewhere. When Four Winds in New Buffalo opened originally the best part about it was that it was close to home with enough space and freedom to feel like you were on a mini vacation. We enjoy gambling and there is a nice selection of slots. Simply put I will not be back unless some changes are made.
